That is a nice concept. Much better than the boring black box. Actually, I hl have been doing some research for the past few months on the best way to modify my PS2. Basically i'm going to gut out my PS2 and design a new casing. Seeing your concept has inspired my to drop my design and use yours. So there may be a actually working version of that oh so pretty design above.

P.S. If you have any other views it will help in the planning of the mold

I like this more than the actual design of the real PS3. In light of the fact that there is a lot going on inside the thing I guess what they did is good too , But I wish they didn't pick the same font as the Spiderman film franchise for their logo. That bothers me a little.
But yours is great

That IS a photo isnt it... it's not possible that thats just a rendering... you got EVERYTHING... theres slight polishing artifact on the front top edge, as you know how hard it is to make a surface as flat as that for a consumer product and polish it PERFECTLY, it's impossible (if you look at these kinds of things and KNOW ralizm like i do, youd notice these things too), and the grain and reflections of the plugs are just too good. I would love to see a real High Resolution (heck, make it a BMP, with no compression whatsoever) version of this rendering/or/photo, to which the digital compression artifacts around the edges of everything (yes, even on your big image) would be out of the way, and i'd more definativly be able to tell if this is you just being a supurb digital artist (as you are nonetheless), or if this IS actually one of the concept PS3's live.... to which I would have to give you props for a wonderfull photography job at that!
Either way, Very impressive.
